These pieces were
created by the Warner Bros. Directors Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng and Robert McKimson.
They were used as a guide to show other animators working on cartoons the
character layout and feel. They were also used as a colour guide for each
specific production. You can see the thumb tack holes where
these pieces were pinned above the animators desks as the cartoons were
being drawn.
